Back in Novem­ber, I grabbed myself a dou­ble pack of Poké­mon Scar­let and Vio­let. I fig­ured I would like it, but I did­n’t think I’d have got­ten into it as much as I did. For the oth­er games, except for Arceus, I nev­er got real­ly pulled in. They were fun dis­trac­tions, but I nev­er had any prob­lem putting them down and going off to do oth­er things. Arceus was my first true love for any Poké­mon game. An open world, a craft­ing sys­tem, and a lot of fun poké­mon to col­lect. But this post isn’t about Arceus. Scar­let sucked me in after a few hours of play­ing. I love Koraidon and the whole of the sto­ry. While its only been about six months since its release, I still find myself get­ting on the game at least once a week for shiny hunt­ing, raid­ing, or just goof­ing around.

Over all I’ve got­ten almost all the spe­cial. I missed a spe­cial Zoroark when my work got a bit crazy, but that is anoth­er sto­ry. I’m excit­ed­ly antic­i­pat­ing the release of the updat­ed Poké­mon Home so I can get an Arti­c­uno in there as well as see­ing what will hap­pen with Alpha’s moved in from Arceus. This game has giv­en me an appre­ci­a­tion for a lot more poké­mon species I orig­i­nal­ly did­n’t think twice about. The DLC should be fun as well. I’ve not pre-ordered it yet, its still months away from being released, but I ful­ly intend to play it as soon as its released.
