The long weekend has ended and I’m back to the daily grind at the office. I never feel weekends are long enough regardless of how much time I really have. I’m the type of person that can’t ever really get bored. There’s always something that needs to get done, be it a book I need to finish, some work around the house, a writing project, or even just sitting down and relaxing with a game. There will always be something that I can, and probably should, do. This past long weekend was no exception. I picked up a new AC for my bedroom, that I actually didn’t install yet because of the rainy weather and it not being really needed at the moment. I found and sent a vape unit to a friend in the US with some difficult as well. Its the same type I got myself maybe a month a go. Over the weekend starting on Friday I went to six different stores before I could actually find the specific one I was looking for with one store actually giving me some incorrect information about one of the vape units they said was the same thing only a different colour. In their defence they are right its more or less the same unit however the one they tried to sell me was plastic instead of metal and I was specifically looking for a metal unit. I finally found a store that had one in stock on Saturday morning I happened across on my way to pick up a cheap 5000 BTU AC unit for my bedroom. The city I’m living in has no shortage of cannabis stores having something about as often as finding a Tim Hortons. Anyhow, finding the actual vape was only the first part of the challenge. As this is a gift for a friend in the US I had intended to mail the unit, in its original packaging, to them. It should be fine right? Since there is no cannabis with the actual unit and its just an electronic device… Welp that’s where the problem lies. Yeah there isn’t anything technically illegal about the device the fact that it has a battery in it has it classified by Canada Post as Dangerous / Flammable item. They simply refused to accept the item… Since the Post Office wouldn’t accept the item I had to find another way to get it to them. I hurried over to a nearby FedEx drop-off location near by and since it was only a single item and not a box of batteries they accepted it and its on its way. My friend should have their new vape by Thursday.
Embyr and myself also ordered a stream commission from Tirol over this weekend which we had hoped to get finished before Em’s birthday later this month. Its a pretty fun idea playing off some of the elements of some of our past pieces where scaly Embyr and Fluffy Tsar are filming a porn live stream in Embyr’s room. We’ve got a WIP of it so far and we’re both loving it. Em has some ideas for a bit of story behind the filming here but I’ll leave that for Embyr to post, either here (Yes you CAN post stuff here too UwU. You’re absolutely free to do so or even edit this post and make your own comments). If not posted here it will probably be on her FA once the piece is finished. If that is the case I’ll update this post or another one sharing the finished piece when the time comes

Em and I have also been binging on Star Trek over the past few days… more than that actually but there was a bit of a forced break due to the laptop issues I had. Its working great now thankfully. We just finished getting caught up on Strange New Worlds and we’re very much looking forward to the season finale coming out on Thursday of this week as well as the new season of Lower Decks coming out next month. As for Strange New Worlds… I will leave you all with a final thought… Singing Klingons.
Anyhow. Its back to the grind for me my break time is just about over. I’ll be back with another update soon.
Actually, there is one last thing. I’ve been trying to get a bit more done in Pokémon and I’ve managed to get about 8,000,000 in Poke cash on the game. I’m planning on spending a bunch of it to get my Shiny Eeveeloution team maxed out. More on that later too.
