The long week­end has end­ed and I’m back to the dai­ly grind at the office. I nev­er feel week­ends are long enough regard­less of how much time I real­ly have. I’m the type of per­son that can’t ever real­ly get bored. There’s always some­thing that needs to get done, be it a book I need to fin­ish, some work around the house, a writ­ing project, or even just sit­ting down and relax­ing with a game. There will always be some­thing that I can, and prob­a­bly should, do. This past long week­end was no excep­tion. I picked up a new AC for my bed­room, that I actu­al­ly did­n’t install yet because of the rainy weath­er and it not being real­ly need­ed at the moment. I found and sent a vape unit to a friend in the US with some dif­fi­cult as well. Its the same type I got myself maybe a month a go. Over the week­end start­ing on Fri­day I went to six dif­fer­ent stores before I could actu­al­ly find the spe­cif­ic one I was look­ing for with one store actu­al­ly giv­ing me some incor­rect infor­ma­tion about one of the vape units they said was the same thing only a dif­fer­ent colour. In their defence they are right its more or less the same unit how­ev­er the one they tried to sell me was plas­tic instead of met­al and I was specif­i­cal­ly look­ing for a met­al unit. I final­ly found a store that had one in stock on Sat­ur­day morn­ing I hap­pened across on my way to pick up a cheap 5000 BTU AC unit for my bed­room. The city I’m liv­ing in has no short­age of cannabis stores hav­ing some­thing about as often as find­ing a Tim Hor­tons. Any­how, find­ing the actu­al vape was only the first part of the chal­lenge. As this is a gift for a friend in the US I had intend­ed to mail the unit, in its orig­i­nal pack­ag­ing, to them. It should be fine right? Since there is no cannabis with the actu­al unit and its just an elec­tron­ic device… Welp that’s where the prob­lem lies. Yeah there isn’t any­thing tech­ni­cal­ly ille­gal about the device the fact that it has a bat­tery in it has it clas­si­fied by Cana­da Post as Dan­ger­ous / Flam­ma­ble item. They sim­ply refused to accept the item… Since the Post Office would­n’t accept the item I had to find anoth­er way to get it to them. I hur­ried over to a near­by FedEx drop-off loca­tion near by and since it was only a sin­gle item and not a box of bat­ter­ies they accept­ed it and its on its way. My friend should have their new vape by Thursday.

Embyr and myself also ordered a stream com­mis­sion from Tirol over this week­end which we had hoped to get fin­ished before Em’s birth­day lat­er this month. Its a pret­ty fun idea play­ing off some of the ele­ments of some of our past pieces where scaly Embyr and Fluffy Tsar are film­ing a porn live stream in Embyr’s room. We’ve got a WIP of it so far and we’re both lov­ing it. Em has some ideas for a bit of sto­ry behind the film­ing here but I’ll leave that for Embyr to post, either here (Yes you CAN post stuff here too UwU. You’re absolute­ly free to do so or even edit this post and make your own com­ments). If not post­ed here it will prob­a­bly be on her FA once the piece is fin­ished. If that is the case I’ll update this post or anoth­er one shar­ing the fin­ished piece when the time comes

Em and I have also been bing­ing on Star Trek over the past few days… more than that actu­al­ly but there was a bit of a forced break due to the lap­top issues I had. Its work­ing great now thank­ful­ly. We just fin­ished get­ting caught up on Strange New Worlds and we’re very much look­ing for­ward to the sea­son finale com­ing out on Thurs­day of this week as well as the new sea­son of Low­er Decks com­ing out next month. As for Strange New Worlds… I will leave you all with a final thought… Singing Klingons.

Actu­al­ly, there is one last thing. I’ve been try­ing to get a bit more done in Poké­mon and I’ve man­aged to get about 8,000,000 in Poke cash on the game. I’m plan­ning on spend­ing a bunch of it to get my Shiny Eeveeloution team maxed out. More on that lat­er too.
