Its been about three weeks now since I post­ed any­thing here. I’ve draft­ed up a cou­ple of things and nev­er sub­mit­ted them. Okay, so when I last post­ed was just after Embyr’s online par­ty for her birth­day. We all had fun and there was a lev­el of cringe as we sung hap­py birth­day for her but all-in-all we all had fun. We’ve not had a gam­ing day on our Pathfind­er since due to var­i­ous com­pli­ca­tions. First there was a new play­er after some­one dropped so we gave them an extra week to cre­ate their char­ac­ter. This past Fri­day I got called into work at the last minute and this upcom­ing one is ques­tion­able as well as the GM is hav­ing to go out of town for work and they don’t quite know if they will be back in time for our game. Giv­en all the com­pli­ca­tions that have been hap­pen­ing its get­ting hard­er to become invest­ed in the game. I’m not sure how much longer I’ll be last­ing in it as a play­er but I do still want to give it a shot.

We’ve done a fair bit of explor­ing and build­ing on our Cob­ble­mon game, that is until the release of the Teal Mask DLC for Scar­let and Vio­let that dropped around 9:00 PM on Tues­day night. It def­i­nite­ly takes some get­ting used to for late game / end game progress with­out Project E, effec­tive­ly a clone of the very old Equiv­a­lent Exchange mod for mod­ern ver­sions of Minecraft. We’ve not dealt with all the things that are avail­able in the pack yet but with the DLC release we’re prob­a­bly not going to touch it again for a while.

The new sea­sons of Low­er Decks launched a week ago today, with anoth­er new episode today that we’ve yet to see. I did get some good laughs out of it and they did casu­al­ly men­tion the crossover episode with Strange New Worlds, although very briefly. I won’t go into spoil­ers for what’s hap­pened but I am look­ing for­ward to watch­ing the new one tonight with Embyr.

The new sea­son of Wheel of Time is out as well. I’ve caught the first four episodes of that. I read the nov­els in the series for that but it was rough­ly a decade ago. The series does­n’t exact­ly fol­low the nov­els, they usu­al­ly don’t, but its still been an inter­est­ing watch. I hon­est­ly don’t remem­ber the first sea­son all that well so I’ll want to re-watch that at some point as well.

Oh, anoth­er thing that hap­pened because of Cob­ble­mon. My minecraft skin is my drag­on char­ac­ter Selin­iea, whom I’ve pre­vi­ous­ly men­tioned. Embyr’s skin is her Wings of Fire fan drag­on char­ac­ter named Inca. When build­ing Em’s made our base out of a lot of dark­er blocks and dec­o­rat­ed it in such a way that gives it a bit of a spooky feel. I deter­mined that Inca must be a goth chick and after a bit a dis­cus­sion Embyr reluc­tant­ly agreed. With Inca being goth now its helped define a bit more of Nacht’s per­son­al­i­ty, she’s more nerdy now and wears glass­es and has lead to some fur­ther dis­cus­sion about our char­ac­ters and how they relate. Em’s also done quite a bit of new art dur­ing the past three weeks, some of which I can share here. There is also now an alt of a piece we com­mis­sioned a few months ago that we just recent­ly got.
