Near­ly anoth­er month has passed since my last post­ing. I’m hav­ing a bit of a dif­fi­cult time with con­tent. I mean I have plean­ty to talk about but, find­ing the desire to share is con­sid­er­ably more chal­leng­ing since I know this blog is being used to keep tabs on me. I’m not that inter­est­ing, real­ly, but none the less it has been hap­pen­ing. That being said I’ll try to go into the hap­pen­ings of the last month.

Much of my free time this month has gone to tak­ing part in Embyr’s Kink­to­ber art stream. They’ve been going on week­days rough­ly start­ing at 6:00 – 6:30 PM EDT and going a few hours fol­low­ing a dif­fer­ent theme dai­ly. Sat­ur­days the time can vary a bit start­ing either late after­noon or in the evenings. Sun­day’s there isn’t always some­thing sched­uled. While all the slots for this month are sold out there is still a dai­ly stream planned for the rest of the month. 

My Kit­ty Oreo, man­aged to get flees D: Ear­li­er this month, as the tem­per­a­ture had been a cool­er autumn day I left the bed­room win­dow open and Oreo found his way to it and flopped down on the ledge. Appar­ent­ly, this was all it took to catch flees. He’s get­ting treat­ment for it but in the mean time the poor kit­ty is still pret­ty itchy but he is improving.

I’ve decid­ed to do some exper­i­ments with mak­ing some edi­bles, par­tic­u­lar­ly start­ing with infused oil and with that I’ll be mak­ing some gum­mies. Depend­ing on how that goes I may exper­i­ment more with dif­fer­ent things as well. Idea’s include but­ter and from there var­i­ous baked good. Cook­ies sound like they could be fun. I’ve not actu­al­ly done any of it yet, I’ve only done some research as well as get­ting a few essen­tials such as gum­mi mix, the raw oil, and a stove­top infuser. I also grabbed an ounce of herb and a medi­um bot­tle of sun­flower oil. I had want­ed coconut but the gro­cery store is long term out of stock for it. Either way it should be inter­est­ing. If this turns out I’ll be mak­ing rough­ly 1 cup of oil (235 ml). I’ve used oil direct­ly before but nev­er in cook­ing. A 30 ml bot­tle (1 fl oz) lasts me at least a few months but using it in cook­ing I could see this going up… If not this one batch of oil should be some­thing like a years supply. 

When I make the gum­mies though from what I’ve seen so far three to four table­spoons per batch is sug­gest­ed as decent amount of oil to add, or rough­ly 45 – 60 ml. Rough­ly a quar­ter of the batch of oil I plan on mak­ing. I ordered var­i­ous sil­i­cone molds for the gum­mies, includ­ing ones shaped like weed, Poké­mon Pikachu, and Hal­loween char­ac­ters. Giv­en the time this is all going to take to set­up and do its going to be a week­end project and unfor­tu­nate­ly Pikachu won’t get here until mid-Novem­ber. I’ll include some pic­tures when its all done.

Gam­ing wise i’ve been a lit­tle bit all over the place. I’ve done about all I can do on Poké­mon Scar­let for a while. I’ve picked up Tech­ton­i­ca and done a bit of that with Embyr. We’ve also start­ed a new Cob­ble­mon serv­er with the recent release of the 1.4.0 ver­sion of that mod. Oh, and lets not for­get Dis­gaea 7 was recent­ly released as well. We are wel­com­ing oth­ers to join us on the serv­er as well as these types of games are best played with others.

Now for some art. There is real­ly a lim­it­ed amount I can share con­sid­er­ing what I men­tioned at the begin­ning of this post. There are how­ev­er a few things I can post that I’ve already sub­mit­ted to FA as well as an update to a pre­vi­ous­ly post­ed WIP. I’ll prob­a­bly have more to post come Novem­ber. The Pump­kin pick­ing one I’ve been par­tic­u­lar­ly look­ing for­ward to. I love the cos­tumes for Tsar and Em. This one is fea­tured as the title ban­ner on my FA.

On a final note, after receiv­ing two bro­ken ship­ments I’ve got­ten my replace­ment Eevee mug which has safe­ly been stored in the cup­board in the kitchen.
